Windows version? (You posted here using Vista.) Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode? Starting without add-on is ok and does not quicktime manually IE7 will crash, same problem with other sites that seem to be related to ActiveX controls such as www.yahoo.de and music.msn.co.uk.
